Sultanate of Oman is an Arab country. Oman located in the west side of Asia as its showing in the below image. The capital city of Oman is Muscat. Qaboos bin Said he is the ruler of Oman since 1970. Oman currency is Omani Rial. 1 Omani Rial = 2.6 US dollar. As per the calculation of this year , the population in Oman is 5001875. Oman has four governorates and five region. The governorates are Muscat, Dohfar, Musandam, and Buraimi. While the regions are Batinah, Dakhiliyah, Dhahirah, Sharqiyah and finally Wusta. Oman is known for its different terrain such as beaches, mountains and deserts. Oman for sure one of the beautiful places that you would like to spend your vacation on it.

Qaboos bin Said. His full name is Qaboos bin Said bin Taimur al Said. He was born in Salalah city in Dhofar on 18 November 1940. He was the only son of Said bin Taimur and his mother Shiekha Mazoon al Mashani. He started his education for the primary and secondary school in Salalah. He was sent to England at age 16 to finish his study. He joined the royal military academy which called Sandhurt.
